- 5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
- motivated to self-learn new concepts and techniques

- able to understand technical documentation
- able to conform to MOD security screening to achieve security clearance SC level
Responsibility
- understand software requirements and produce relevant and comprehensive tests for software conformance
- build and maintain a library of test datasets that may be reused in multiple test plans
- execute test plans, document, and store test results, including reporting non-conformances to Product and Software Development teams
- maintain the hardware and software test rigs in good order, including reporting and failures and suggesting improvements to the test configuration
- to develop, maintain, document, and perform tests for new and existing software developed in house in conjunction with the Product Development team to ensure the high standard of software quality is maintained
