Responsibility

  • you will be supporting both carers and customers in this role, ensuring the delivery of the highest level of care
  • you should be computer literate and experience with Access People Planner would be an advantage
  • updating Care plans where required and meeting with carers, these are the key job responsibilities
  • we have an exciting new job opportunity for a second Care Coordinator in the Serenity Care office in Lee-on-the-Solent, the new position will be working alongside our excising Coordinator and manage the Fareham area, this is a great opportunity to join our office team
  • ideally you will have previous Care Coordinating experience, but this isn’t essential for the right candidate, but you must be a highly organised individual, who can work effectively under pressure and on your own initiative as well as part of a busy team
  • the Care Coordinator is a critical part of the team, and you should have great interpersonal skills and be able to convey information and establish effective relationships at all levels, while being compassionate and caring is a crucial skill to possess, this is more than just an office job it’s the heart of our office team
  • as a Care Coordinator some of your core duties will include supporting carers and customer with day-to-day care enquiries, managing the schedules, ensuring you are up to date on availability for new and existing customers and manage the templates to ensure carers are rostered correctly
  • as part of your role, you will form part or the on-call team on a rota basis; additionally, you may be required to attend care calls to meet the needs of the business, and emergency cover as and when required
