Responsibility

  • cnc Machine Operator
  • 2 shifts - 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday, 2pm to 11.30pm Monday to Thursday
  • location. Shrewsbury
  • the Role
  • rate of Pay: £11 to £14 based on experience
  • we supply precision components to a wide range of customers, we are seeking Cnc machine operators with experience on CNC Horizontal, vertical and lathes to support a recent increase in production volumes
  • the Role of the Cnc Machine Operator is a permanent position which offers excellent training and career progression for the right person
  • you will operate Cnc machines typically fanuc based. You will load/unload the machines and carry out inspection checks on the components using manual checking gauges and Cmm

Education

  • GCSE or equivalent

Requirements

  • A general knowledge of Cnc Machining
  • A general knowledge of CNC Machining
  • experience of using measuring and checking aids
  • A willingness to be flexible and work as part of a team
  • conscientious and self-motivated
  • ability to understand engineering drawings and terminology
