workshop engineer
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- A hydraulic sales, manufacturing and repair company; a small family business which has seen substantial growth in the last few years
- workload is high and we are keen to maintain and build on this demand
- now we are looking for someone to enhance the business further and join us on a challenging but rewarding expansion program
- we have invested in new facilities and new tooling and increased our total staffing by two during the lock-down period
- assisting mobile engineer with removal and refit of hydraulic equipment and hoses at customer premises or on site at Sentex HQ when required
- other internal duties as required
Requirements
- general mechanical and fabrication skills, metalworking experience
- precision measuring skills
- health and safety / safe working knowledge, particularly where high pressures and forces are involved
- manual dexterity, Lifting equipment is provided but some manual lifting will be required on a daily basis
- team-working
- basic computer skills
- all other required skills/knowledge can be established or improved through training
- branded work clothing provided
