Responsibility
- teach small group curriculum in a Montessori prepared environment
- maintain class routines and procedures to ensure room is organized and safe for children and parents
- ability to work well as part of a team and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
- will be required to set-up and pack-away the environment each day
- training will be provided
- sensorStory is seeking a part-time, flexible position for a passionate guide to join our highly collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in working with young children and parents
- in the Montessori environment, teachers are known as ‘guides’, and as a SensorStory guide you will provide little ones & their grown-up’s our Montessori inspired program and a beautiful magical environment, as well as helping families make enchanting memories to last a lifetime
- our Guides are; Confident, Respectful & Kind, Passionate about Early Years, Thoughtful, Either Montessori trained or motivated to learn
Requirements
- experience working with children is preferred but not required
- knowledge of the Montessori curriculum is preferred but not required
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
