factory operative
Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- to carry out designated tasks safely and to time
- to record the work completed as required
- to carry out any necessary inspection or quality checks on products at the work station
- to wear all the PPE issued to them at all times and keep it in good order
- to maintain cleanliness of their working area and the factory in general
- to carry out basic inspection and daily maintenance of the equipment they are using before, during and at the end of their shift
- to report any potentially dangerous situations or incidents to ensure the company can maintain a safe working environment for all our employees
Requirements
- candidates will need to be numerate and literate
- A key requirement for our operatives is a positive attitude towards work and building and maintaining their relationships with colleagues
- full training will be given to successful candidates however they must be able to demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn new tasks
- full training will be given to operatives enabling them to use a wide variety of glass processing equipment safely and efficiently. Candidates who already have experience and skills within this industry are very welcome to apply
