Responsibility
- semper Care is an established domiciliary care provider based in Bradford and surrounding areas
- report any incidents or concerns to management and follow protocol as specified in the policies and procedures
- befriending the service user to a professional capacity, understanding their needs and helping them to become more independent
- we pride ourselves in enabling our service users to maintain their independence as much as possible as well as investing in the personal and professional development of our staff
- we provide all required training for FREE - We also provide one to one guidance for staff to enhance their skills and capabilities
- to assist service user in their own home with general day to day tasks such as personal care, washing and dressing, meal preparation, assisting with medications and accessing the community
Requirements
- A genuine desire to help others
- NVQ level 2 in health and social care
- good communication skills. The ability to understand and respond to verbal and nonverbal communications
- training and experience in working with individuals with challenging behaviour
- ability to remain calm and manage situations effectively in any time of crisis
- counselling skills
- continuity in carrying out good practice
- flexible and adaptable
