Responsibility
- selby Landscapes Ltd is a reputable landscaping company based in Bath, UK, specialising in high-end landscape projects
- execute carpentry tasks as assigned, including decking, fencing, outbuildings, bespoke storage, and other related projects
- we are currently build a relationship with a skilled subcontractor carpenter to join our team on an ad-hoc basis
- collaborate with our teams on-site, ensuring effective communication and coordination to achieve project objectives
- interpret and read site plans and construction drawings accurately to ensure precise execution of carpentry work
- we are looking for someone who can consistently deliver high-quality craftsmanship and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- maintain a high standard of workmanship, paying attention to detail and delivering quality results
- utilise your own vehicle and tools to complete assigned tasks
Requirements
- proven experience as a carpenter, with a portfolio showcasing completed projects of a similar nature to a high standard
- proficiency in interpreting and reading site plans and construction drawings
- strong carpentry skills, including experience with decking, fencing, outbuildings, and bespoke storage
- own vehicle and tools required for the job
- excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients
- detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship
- reliable, punctual, and able to meet project deadlines
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
