Responsibility
- sel Environmental Limited are a specialist construction company who manufacture and supply sustainable drainage products worldwide
- an exciting opportunity to join an ever-growing pro-active company
- use of AutoCAD packages both 2D and 3D
- mentor CAD Apprentices in producing 2D & 3D standardised product details for manufacture, Technical documents & Sales Literature
- development of construction details using AutoDesk BIM programs
- manage the issuing of drawings on project management software – 4p, siteworks, Asite
- with year on year significant growth, we are now looking to increase our headcount and are seeking driven individuals who have a strong work ethic, to join our deisgn team at our headquarters in Blackburn
- produce digital terrain models for 3D laser-controlled plant and equipment
Requirements
- HNC qualification in civil engineering or equivalent is desirable, but not essential
- keen interest in civil engineering, especially sustainable drainage projects
- competency in computer aided drawing and the use of AutoCAD packages
- experience & Evidence of detailing civil engineering details
- experience using land surveying software to producing digital terrain models
- ability to organise your workload across multiple projects
- full Clean Drivers Licence preferred
- autoCAD: 2 years
