- seaham Kindergarten is expanding and we are looking for a Nursery manager to join our team at our new site
- promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children
- ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development
- ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- ensure that children are kept safe, and that staff understand and when necessary, follow Safeguarding Procedures
- promote and facilitate partnerships with parents/carers and other family members
- support the development of good practice with regards to special needs and inclusion

- seaham Kindergarten has an opportunity for a Nursery Cook to join our team
- we are looking for an experienced cook to prepare and cook meals in our on-site kitchen
- you would be part of a warm and welcoming team and see the benefits of your work in the faces of all of our amazing children
- ensure all stock is ordered for the planned menu
- maintaining sufficient supplies and stock control of domestic consumables e.g. paper towels, toilet rolls, liquid soap, cleaning materials etc
- to cover any other reasonable responsibilities as appropriate, at the request of the Nursery Manager or Senior staff
- meal preparation: 2 years
- diploma of Higher Education
