the role leads a small facilities engineering team and works with other scientific and operational team members across the wider organisation

the Facilities Team Leader / Manager position supports the engineering and facilities activities of a diverse and high-specification laboratory site covering preventative and reactive maintenance and new engineering and facility projects
leads, coordinates and supports an experienced and high quality engineering and facilities team
liaises with the Facilities and Operational teams on all equipment, engineering and maintenance faults
the team is expanding to support the company’s growth, and the Facilities Team Leader / Manager role complements and strengthens the Operational structure
ensures regulatory system compliance alongside senior management updates on related matters
planning, scheduling and maintaining new engineering and facility projects is central to the role with opportunities to develop project management and communication skills managing the full project lifecycle
