Requirements

  • knowledge and experience of configuring and troubleshooting basic networks
  • knowledge and experience of building hardware such as PCs
  • knowledge of basic electronics would be an advantage
  • customer service – you must be experienced in interacting with customers, and the challenges in doing so
  • knowledge and experience of networks at OSI layer 2 is essential
  • knowledge of basic routing is essential
  • knowledge and experience of more advanced routing would be an advantage

Responsibility

  • the successful candidate will primarily be responsible for day-to-day operation of our support department.  This involves responding to service requests from customers, as well as well of configuration of software and hardware ready to be deployed by our field engineers
