  • to ensure accurate reporting and documentation
  • to participate in care planning implementation and review as a key worker
  • to promote the values, build morale and encourage others to perform to high standards
  • to have an understanding of the systems and processes for reporting incidents and concerns
  • undertake on call duties
  • to promote choice in the delivery of care and support. Reviewing and making suggestions to enhance the individuals’ experience. Enabling concerns and complaints to be raised freely by the individual and/or their representatives
  • to promote an organisational culture where staff are empowered to challenge inappropriate behaviour and unsafe practice using appropriate organisational processes including the internal whistle blowing policy
  • to ensure that the rights and choices of individuals are actively promoted and supported and their beliefs and preferences are appropriately acknowledged
