Requirements

  • knowledge of goods inwards inspection techniques, parts measurement and record keeping
  • experience of manufacturing quality control, hands on approach to process improvement and employee engagement
  • familiarity with technical documentation including engineering drawings and revision control
  • manufacturing quality control background
  • customer facing skills, the ability to support customer feedback on quality matters
  • internal auditing qualification and experience

Responsibility

  • an opportunity has arisen for a full time quality technician to provide additional quality support on site, and continued process development
  • we manufacture several ranges of low voltage DC contactors, cable harness assembly and electrical contacts
  • CNC machining of components
  • power press stamping and forming of components
  • cleaning and brazing processes including furnace and torch brazing
  • coil winding and soft soldering
  • general assembly work with torque drivers
  • electrical routine testing, including functional and high voltage dielectric testing < 6kV
