Requirements

  • full driving license and vehicle due to our rural location with little transport links
  • 5x GSCEs Level 5 and above
  • qualified to AAT Level 2 or equivalent
  • previous accounts experience, including working knowledge of reconciliations and double-entry bookkeeping
  • current, credible, hard-working, dependable, friendly and personable
  • excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • diligent, with a keen eye for details
  • A desire to study towards an AAT Level 3 apprenticeship, including 'end point assessment'. The company will fund and support this as remote learning via First Intuition . The course duration is typically 12-15 months

Responsibility

  • as a new member of the Finance team, you will assist the Group Financial Controller and Finance Managers with the everyday finance tasks within our group of companies
  • managing digital filing systems
  • supplier invoice queries
  • ad-hoc reconciliations as and when they arise
  • basic accruals and prepayments
