Responsibility
- overseeing the preparation of the annual statutory accounts and reports as per regulatory and legal requirements
- overseeing the preparation of monthly management accounts with a comparison to budget and forecast to comply with group deadlines
- responsibility for the financial control in the Slovakian Branch , via liaison with accountants in country
- overall payroll responsibility, including reviewing and signing off both weekly & monthly payrolls
- manage all taxation matters including; corporation tax, VAT & PAYE, in conjunction with auditors to meet regulatory and legal requirements
- ensuring the proper systems, procedures and control accounts are in place and maintained throughout the accounting function. To be the key user in the company’s accounting software
- preparation of regular cash flow forecasts and monitoring of same to ensure fixed and working capital is available and managed as effectively as possible. To be the focal point for dealings with banks
- lead, coach & develop the finance team, and play a part in supporting the knowledge of non-financial managers
