Responsibility
build, manage and progress a pipeline of new business opportunities, including prospects launching funds and take-away business from competitors
grow the fund brand and reputation across the region
build on an existing network of investment managers, fund sponsors, trustees, counsels, auditors and other key influencers
build, manage and progress a pipeline of new business opportunities
lead sales process from end to end, including identifying prospects, coordinating meetings and presentations, preparing proposals and managing deal teams
collaborate with colleagues across regions and areas of specialization to achieve business objectives
ensure robust knowledge of Apex’s offering and value proposition
champion cross-sell initiatives across services lines and geographies to drive new sales into our existing client base
Requirements
knowledge of real asset sector and asset management
strong self-confidence, strategic mind to lead and/or contribute to discussion with various stakeholders at senior levels
demonstrated sales skills and ability to consistently deliver on sales targets
strong verbal and written skills are essential
experience with CRM systems , KPI tracking and internal stakeholders
A strong existing network fund managers, sponsors, trustees, law firms and other influencers preferred in the real asset industry, including ability to interact with C-Level executives
possess a strong work ethic, as well as uncompromising integrity
5+ years relevant experience in the real asset industry, fund administration, financial services or ability to demonstrate relevant experience
