- maintenance of gardens including planting, pruning, weeding, mowing and hedge trimming
- have the willingness to learn new skills
- knowledge of common plants
- have experience working outdoors in all weather conditions
- safe operation and maintenance of equipment including lawn mowers, blowers, hedge trimmers and strimmers
- have experience operating hand and power tools
- maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the work area
- be able to work as part of a team
Requirements
- at least 5 year's experience in gardening
- good knowledge of plant material and horticultural practices
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- ability to lift and carry and be physically fit
- flexibility in scheduling is a plus as we have peak periods during the growing season
- A full valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- gardening: 5 years
- landscaping: 2 years
