Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • as a site manager your main responsibility is to the health and safety of all site personnel
  • ensure that the deadline for completing work is met and in accordance with the site program
  • ensure workers are undertaking in accordance with the remediation method statement or other working plans
  • manage and deal with problems appropriately as they arise or seek management/ specialist advice where required
  • oversee the delivery of materials and that appropriate lifting plans and documentation/duty of care in order
  • you will oversee all site activities ensuring all works are undertaken in a safe and controlled manor in accordance with legislation/guidance and that it will not be detrimental to health and/or safety of any site personnel, visitors or members of the public
  • manage all site operations involving site plant, equipment and personnel to ensure they are utilised in a cost-effective manner
  • ensure all site staff and operatives and any sub-contractors are suitably qualified for the tasks that they are undertaking

Requirements

  • at least 5 years relevant site management experience within remediation and/or civil engineering
  • knowledge and experience of various plant and machinery
  • relevant CSCS & SMSTS qualifications
