Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • MIG/TIG/Stick welding/fabrication experience
  • A full UK driving licence with a maximum of six penalty points is also required
  • hourly rate depending on experience
  • samatrix, a well-established, Swansea based M & E contractor to the waste and water industry, is looking for a skilled engineer to carry out mechanical fabrication/welding tasks and some site installations
  • candidates will ideally have completed a full apprenticeship in a mechanical engineering discipline and will be coded and have experience and preferably formal training in TIG welding and fabrication particularly on stainless steel
  • the role is workshop based with some work taking place sites throughout the UK. Tasks vary from welding, fabrication, to some site installation
  • this position is for 39 hours per week with occasional overtime. We offer 20 days annual holiday plus bank holidays, company pension, regular industry training and the opportunity to further develop your career and progress within the business
