cooking dishes to the designed food specs providing consistency, best quality and minimising wastage
setting up the kitchen prior to a restaurant’s opening
preparing specific section of the restaurant for service by prepping and ensuring all equipment is at hand
assisting with food prep at the required level per service
the ideal candidate should be passionate about the food and be required to ensure all kitchen operations run smoothly by assisting in the food preparation and general up keep of the kitchen
complete all required day to day H&S checks in the restaurant and sign off the required due-diligence paperwork
Requirements
minimum of 3 years experience of working as a Sous Chef in Mediterranean cuisine is preferable
