Requirements
- to be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
- to be discreet and confidential
- ‘A’ level or equivalent
- to be pleasant, helpful, polite and patient
- AAT qualified or equivalent accountancy qualification
- to be able to communicate effectively with all members of the College community
- significant experience of working with financial and information systems
- sound practical accounting / bookkeeping experience
Responsibility
- ensure that fees and extras are captured and invoiced on time
- timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments
- provide cover for purchase ledger as required
- other finance related activities
- post and allocate receipts to the finance system
- respond to all parental queries on fees and liaise as necessary with other staff to resolve queries
- to maintain the pupil database for each route
- keep informed and current with relevant system developments and updates and review processes and procedures with a view to continuous improvement
