Responsibility
- 1 To represent Safespaces business in a professional, knowledgeable manner
- 4 To assist with lifting and assembly of products and quality checking if / when required
- 5 To complete health & safety induction and weekly sewing machinery checks
- 6 To ensure the effective operation of equipment by completing basic maintenance, and troubleshooting any malfunctions
- 7 To contribute towards the evolving design of our products
- 8 To develop and maintain a positive and effective working relationship with team members
- 2 To produce safe rooms & beds according to specification & quality standards using industrial single needle walking foot sewing machines and a bias binding machine, This will involve sewing heavy duty fabrics such as PVC & similar heavy duty fabric
- 9 To maintain up-to-date and accurate records in line with.the order process procedure, to follow the allocated picking list
Requirements
- 1 Experience of & ability to use relevant sewing machines for sewing heavy duty fabrics & assembling finished products
- 2 Ability to understand and use written & verbal sewing instructions, including patterns and diagrams
- 3 Ability to lift and assemble component parts to create finished products
- 4 Physically fit with the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy duty fabrics
- 5 Ability to complete tasks thoroughly and efficiently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- 6 Ability to deal with and resolve practical problems
- 7 Excellent organisational & time management skills
