Responsibility
- safeGroup is a national leader in specialist cleaning and waste management services, with over 15 years experience in the sector
- safeGroup are now looking to recruit a Head of Resource Planning to join our business on a full-time basis
- you will be reporting to Operations Director and coaching, mentoring and line managing the North Planner
- you will be working in a fast paced environment with a busy team, ensuring that all customer jobs are appropriately allocated to SafeGroup technicians, whilst maximising the utilisation of our workforce by identifying best practices and processes and implementing them
- you will be delivering a very reactive service to our clients and responsible for the scheduling teams of mobile technicians across the UK
- maintain control on all travel costs by optimising jobs based on employee locations
- timely escalation of any issues to the appropriate operations management team
Requirements
- minimum of 2 years’ managerial experience in an operational role in the service/FM sector
- previous working knowledge of planning work schedules for staff to attend jobs
- ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally
- excellent communication skills
- ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels of management and staff
- highly customer focussed and always looking to deliver a high quality of service for clients
- good attention to detail and ability to spot issues with data and recommend solutions
- capable of delegating duties and tasks to other colleagues
