Requirements
- university degree in the finance field
- post degree accounting qualification
- ability to balance accounting and control requirements with the commercial needs of the organisation
- experience of interpreting complex contracts and applying IFRS standards
- experience in implementing accounting standard and policy changes within a business area
- analytical and quantitative skills, combined with a hands-on approach
- significant experience in Finance roles in the energy industry and/or a trading environment with experience in Mark-to-Market accounting is essential. A good understanding of the UK energy market is a plus
- eager to work in a team, sharing information with different department and in high coordination with front office
Responsibility
- ensure that the trading transactions are structured and booked to meet the most optimal and compliant derivative accounting for the group
- IFRS 9 Reporting - Responsible for the reporting of MtM accounting entries for monthly financial close, year-end, Statutory accounts and the Budget process
