- full-time
Responsibility
- you will be interpreting basic customer requirements using existing data and archive project data to achieve standard specifications, listing out exceptions
- projects will vary from simple change-parts on existing customer platforms right up to £2-3m complete packaging solutions
- basic design layouts for geometry and scaling
- creating variations of existing manufactured parts
- calculations for consumption, speed and filling rates
- working under the direction of the Technical Manager, and alongside the Engineering Team the role will be varied, operating with multiple projects and tasks at different phases
- handling of Bill of Materials, reporting, reconfiguring and updating
- issuing of specification with accompanying notes, diagrams and instructions
Requirements
- to be considered for this exciting opportunity, the successful candidate will have good communication skills and a ‘hands-on’ approach
- you will have a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree or completed an Apprenticeship programme
- you will have had previous exposure to the Aerosol industry and to packaging machinery
- basic knowledge in AutoCad and Solidworks
- ideally working knowledge of Syspro or similar MRPII system
