Responsibility
- responsible for developing features, fixing bugs, updating application to comply with our development standards
- responsible for developing solution with our clients using our partners technologies
- being part of a larger team - working with and learning from a senior developer within the team
- helping with internal applications or other work when possible
- working closely with clients to understand their needs
- help us to grow our software engineering practice
- after training, you'll be working as a developer on one of our client projects, typically moving onto other client work after 6-12 months
Requirements
- scientific or technical degree, or a relevant professional qualification/coding bootcamp, or equivalent experience
- experience in software development
- understanding of common programming models
- basic knowledge and understanding of web infrastructure
- some understanding of DevOps technologies
- understanding of development methodologies - Agile and Waterfall
- web technologies, a clear understanding of HTML, CSS, REST, etc
- experience of / familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS, Docker, or AWS/Azure DevOps would be helpful
