  • we are looking to recruit a part/full time Medical Receptionist
  • previous experience of working in a General Practice environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
  • experience of IT systems, in particular EMIS would be advantageous
  • customer Service experience is essential to this role
  • the primary function of this role will be to assist in the smooth running of reception and will include main reception duties, dealing with patients at reception and over the telephone, processing prescriptions and mail, booking and cancelling appointments, signposting patients to the appropriate service, and many other administrative duties
