• to process invoices and expense claims for payment, ensuring necessary authorisation is obtained, and provide general accounting support across the School, and its entities

• providing back up analysis of departmental budget reports when requested
• reporting to the Financial Controller, the Purchase Ledger Clerk is the first point of contact for all queries regarding outstanding invoices, and requires a methodical and accurate approach, paying attention to detail. The main duties include
• registering supplier invoices, obtaining correct authorisation, entering invoices and expenses claims onto the Purchase Ledger for payment
• investigate and resolve supplier queries, regular review and clearance of outstanding registered invoices
• to process invoices and expense claims for payment, ensuring necessary authorisation is obtained , and provide general accounting support across the School and its entities
• nominal ledger postings from a variety of sources, including inter company transactions
