RUBERY DAY NURSERY is looking for employees for positions:
- managing the Nursery Nurses and the quality of childcare within a room/area
- coaching and mentoring Nursery Nurses to deliver high quality childcare
- ensuring stimulating and inspiring activities are provided for the children in the Nursery
- planning, prepare and review the curriculum with the team in your room, reflective of the EYFS
- working in partnership with parents and carers
- assisting with the monitoring of staff performance with the room/Nursery
- following and implementation all the policies and procedures set out by the Nursery
- preparing children for the transition to the next age range
- NVQ Level 3 childcare and education or recognised equivalent
- A clear and thorough understanding of the EYFS and OFSTED outcomes, and best practice delivery
- previous relevant experience within a private day nursery
- previous management experience
- A clear understanding of the Safeguarding and Welfare Requirements
- A recognised Early Years Level 3 qualification or above preferred
- excellent knowledge of the statutory welfare requirements, OFSTED expectations and all other relevant Early Years Legislations
- excellent communication skills, people management and interpersonal skills
- A minimum of 2 years previous relevant Nursery Management experience
- good attention to detail
- computer literate and adaptable when working with different software systems
