- install, repair, and maintain roofs on residential and commercial buildings
- remove old roofing materials and dispose of them properly
- inspect roofs for damage and determine necessary repairs or replacements
- measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific areas
- install insulation and vapor barriers
- apply waterproof coatings or sealants to protect roofs from weather damage
- collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
- adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times
- previous experience in roofing or construction preferred, but not required
- ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and equipment
- attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
