Requirements

  • preferably CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
  • solid knowledge of accounting regulations
  • flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and/or business requirements
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills both within the company and externally
  • organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
  • desire to broaden knowledge and progress
  • excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • self-motivated and good team player. Contributes to team effort with a “can do” attitude, working with the team to meet period end deadlines

Responsibility

  • assist with the yearend process leading up to the audit and liaising with external auditors
  • responsible for VAT compliance activities which would include quarterly VAT filings, reconciliation of the VAT accounts, and correspondence with the authorities on VAT matters
