Responsibility
- operating a forklift truck to move materials and goods around the warehouse
- loading and unloading vehicles
- checking the condition of the forklift truck before and after use and reporting any defects or issues to the appropriate personnel
- keeping the work area clean, tidy and free of hazards
- following health and safety guidelines and protocols at all times
- driving a company van for deliveries and collections as required
- maintaining accurate records of goods and materials movement
- assisting with other warehouse duties as required
Requirements
- experience as a warehouse operative, forklift truck driving, and van driving
- valid forklift truck driver's license
- valid driving license
- ability to operate a forklift truck safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment
- good communication and teamwork skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- standard 9-5 working hours, with potential overtime
