Responsibility

  • work with production to properly prioritize production plans and help with capacity studies and improvements
  • determine and coordinate with production the requirement for and availability of raw product to support the production plans
  • monitor adherence to plan, and work with stakeholders/suppliers/vendors to resolve any issues that arise
  • develop & implement continuous improvement / cost optimization programmes for key suppliers
  • develop risk management / mitigation plans to insulate the Operations team from interruptions in the supply of business-critical materials and services
  • supply Chain spend of £20m / annual across circa 10,000 Purchase Orders. Leadership of Supply Chain Team currently consisting of 3 direct reports and 1 indirect report
  • manage the efficient use of site planning / scheduling tools
  • ownership of the planning / scheduling process
