to act as the Primary Sound Engineer in the Main House
set up any Bands and Instruments for rehearsals and productions
with other members of the Technical Department, set up sound, lighting and AV equipment as needed
assist in the preparation & maintain accurate plots and records detailing all aspects of performance related equipment
maintain and oversee the proper functioning of the sound system and related instruments & equipment
troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to the sound system and related instruments & equipment
to promote and safeguard the welfare of persons for whom you are responsible for and come into contact with
setting up and programming QLab and the Sound Desk for Daytime Events and assist in programming QLab and the Sound Desk for the Main Performances
Requirements
experience working in Live Theatre and Musicals, ideally in a producing house or equivalent
strong, proven experience in mixing for Live Theatre and Musicals
experience setting up and working with Bands and Actor/-Musicians in a stage setting
experience with using and maintaining Radio Mics
proficient programming of QLAB
working Knowledge of Yamaha sound desks and Dante networks
good knowledge of current sound equipment and practices
ability to demonstrate initiative and adaptability
