Requirements

  • demonstrable related experience or degree in aligned field
  • project Management qualification
  • safeguarding or Risk Management qualification
  • experience of working in an information-heavy organisation such as a regulatory organisation
  • experience of establishing new ways of working and successfully embedding them to secure effective use of resources
  • successful management of projects or products within budget and to deadlines
  • within veterinary, mental health, not for profit or public sector
  • development and successful implementation of stakeholder management process

Responsibility

  • act as the main point of contact between the RCVS and the suppliers, and internally with the project stakeholders
  • prepare regular project updates to key stakeholders and suppliers
  • convene stakeholder meetings and Project Board Meetings and produce documentation for project governance
  • liaise with the Web & Projects Lead to ensure co-ordination and synergy with the website and CMS projects
  • formulate plans for the project workstreams including deliverables, development, testing, implementation, and communications
  • skillful and proactive management of the project scope
  • engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure user needs are understood, managing the development of the project plan and budget, establishing regular meetings to share progress and seek input and delivering to agreed timescales
  • produce Issues and Risk Logs and manage both appropriately
