- checking supplier invoices against purchase orders
- we are a specialist building materials supplier based in Glasgow with 5 depots covering Scotland. Our customer base covers National/local housebuilders, Building Contractors, specialist contractors and the public
- assist with supplier/customer queries by email & telephone
- supplier statement reconciliations
- production of monthly customer statements
- bank Reconciliations and investigation of discrepancies
- checking and processing purchase invoices
Requirements
- previous Purchase/Sales Ledger experience is essential
- highly numerate with strong attention to detail
- good organizational and communication skills
- have a pleasant and polite telephone manner and be aware of the importance of ensuring good supplier/customer relationships are always maintained
- be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- able to work to tight deadlines
- friendly and professional demeanour to staff and clients
