Responsibility
- housekeeper
- overall responsibility for ensuring housekeeping runs smoothly and the agreed standards are met
- to ensure that all house public areas are maintained
- to ensure that deep cleaning and mattress turning happens and is logged on an on-going basis
- to ensure that all the house flowers/plants in all rooms are kept fresh and attractive
- to replenish wood stock and ensure efficient and safe cleaning of the open fires
- actioning any changes of procedure if the required standards are not being met
- responsible for the ordering, receipt, correct storage and security of all cleaning products
Requirements
- this is a full time role based at Rothes Glen
- own transport and driver’s license preferred
- good communication skills
- you are highly organised, have an eye for detail and take care in your work
- housekeeping: 1 year
- 20 – 37.5 hours per week . The precise times and days of your working week will vary according to when guests are in residence
- flexibility is key, and the correct applicant should have a willingness to pitch in across all departments when necessary. For those taking on 37.5 hours an aspect of FOH service may apply
- on occasion you will be offered to stay overnight on site with a bonus fee and be the first point of contact for guests during their stay
