scaffolder

Responsibility

  • fabricate and assemble scaffolding systems according to specifications and safety regulations
  • ensure all scaffolding is plumb, level, and structurally sound before use
  • collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, electricians, and masons to facilitate smooth operations on site
  • use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely in the construction of scaffolding
  • conduct regular inspections of scaffolding structures to identify any potential hazards or maintenance needs
  • dismantle scaffolding upon project completion while ensuring materials are stored properly for future use
  • maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations

Requirements

  • proven experience in scaffold building or a related construction field is preferred
  • cots / CISRS part 1 / 2 working with Layher scaffold, tube and fitting
  • familiarity with industrial sites, roofing, electrical installations is advantageous
  • strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices on site
