Responsibility
- we are currently looking for an experienced Cook to work day shifts at Rosebank Care Home. The ideal candidate will have previous experience and knowledge working within a nursing/care home kitchen
Requirements
- experience as a nursing/care home cook
- prepare, cook and serve wholesome, nutritious meals for our residents following a four weekly rotating menu
- have knowledge of varied dietary requirements
- cater for special dietary requirements
- level 2 in Food Hygiene qualification essential
- ensure food is stored correctly and in accordance with food hygiene legislation
- minimise waste levels
- ensure all temperature records are kept up to date along with cleaning rotas and all food safety requirements
