Responsibility

  • we are currently looking for an experienced Cook to work day shifts at Rosebank Care Home. The ideal candidate will have previous experience and knowledge working within a nursing/care home kitchen

Requirements

  • experience as a nursing/care home cook
  • prepare, cook and serve wholesome, nutritious meals for our residents following a four weekly rotating menu
  • have knowledge of varied dietary requirements
  • cater for special dietary requirements
  • level 2 in Food Hygiene qualification essential
  • ensure food is stored correctly and in accordance with food hygiene legislation
  • minimise waste levels
  • ensure all temperature records are kept up to date along with cleaning rotas and all food safety requirements
