Earnings on positions in ROPE AND SLING
ROPE AND SLING is looking for employees for positions:
- carry out any inspections and testing work of manual handling and lifting equipment in accordance with LOLER and PUWER regulations
- service and repair Lifting Equipment on customer's sites and in the company workshop as required
- ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and correctly to ensure customer compliance and safety
- adhere to Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety regulations at all times
- maintain the company vehicle, completing the relevant daily checks
- help to keep all shared areas and workshop clean and tidy
- lifting Equipment Inspection/Testing: 2 years
- liaising with the office and co-ordinating the workshop / depot staff for their daily jobs
- picking parts and organising vehicles for the Depot staff to get them out on the road on time each day
- monitoring Depot staff productivity against times planned and updating the office and customers accordingly
- being the first point of contact for any issues the Depot staff report
- maintaining a safe and tidy workshop at all times
- monitoring consumable levels in the workshop and vans and placing orders accordingly
- monitoring stock levels of materials, maintaining accurate stock records
- liaising with management to ensure all relevant quality issues are addressed
- safely transporting equipment to customers and between depots
- to deliver and/or collect hire and sales equipment from Rope and Sling customers in a timely and professional manner
- loading, unloading, and checking equipment for hire and sales orders
- assist the Workshop Team in preparing equipment for hire and sales orders
- assisting the workshop team with basic maintenance, cleaning, and preparation of lifting equipment
- ensure all relevant paperwork is correctly completed
- completing delivery paperwork, recording returns, and reporting any issues
- maintain the company vehicle ensuring it’s kept clean and tidy and tyres, oil and water are checked regularly
