Responsibility
- create and modify CAD drawings using AutoCAD software
- preparing .dxf files for CNC operations
- carrying our site surveys and taking site measurements
- organizing samples for the clients
- liaising with designesr regarding drawing approvals
- create drawings for fabrication and assembly of components
- analyse technical drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness
- maintain and update existing CAD files
Requirements
- minimum 3 years experience in bespoke high-end cabinet making in the UK
- proven experience producing drawings for production of joinery products/furniture/cabinetry
- experience using AutoCAD 2D & 3D and/ or Solidworks and/or Microvellum
- strong understandingof furniture and cabinetry construction and materials and a strong attention to technical details
- strong aesthetic and technical design skills
- experience completing site surveys to ensure that all the joinery measurements are correct
- strong attention to detail
