Responsibility

  • all work will be carried out within company procedures and policies and in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner
  • this role will involve but not be limited to
  • maintenance and repairs on waste containers, fixed and mobile plant and auxiliary equipment
  • roberts Waste Ltd is a family run business based in Bridgwater, delivering a best in class waste collection and recycling service to a large and well established customer base in and around the Somerset area
  • dismantling and reassembling equipment where necessary to carry out the primary task of welding
  • we are seeking a W elder/Fabricator to join our busy hard working team. The successful candidate will provide mechanical and engineering assistance, advice and support to the current team
  • the role is expected to be varied in nature and utilise an extensive skillset, however the primary focus will be repair, maintenance and preparation of company waste skips and containers, ensuring we have a ready and functional suite to send out to our customers
  • visually inspecting existing assets and equipment, welds, materials, dimensions and engineering
