Do you have 5-10 years AP experience and would be excited by setting up processes within a relatively new finance function? The business is well established and is setting up a new finance function in their offices in Waterloo? Would the mining business industry be one you seek to explore? Key Responsibilities: Monitor Shared Accounts Inbox Assist with Manual Supplier Invoice (MSI) imputing into IFS with supporting documentation Reconciliation of Creditor statements Creditor Payments using multiple foreign currencies (FX) throughout the month. Ensure creditors are paid in a timely manner New Creditor setup in IFS including due diligence checks Liaise with site and creditors to ensure queries are resolved within minimal time frame Corporate credit card expense reconciliation into IFS EFT and manual payments weekly Prepare and distribute remittance advices for manual payments Multiple currency transactions Scanning / filing / archiving and other administrative duties Prepare inter company recharges as required (Receivables) Cash calls, trades and transfers as requested from the Finance Department Investigate and reply to auditor enquiries in a timely manner This role is initially a 12 month fixed term contract likely to go permanent It is a great opportunity for a senior AP clerk who is keen to manage in the future and set up processes in the meantime they have a fully operating finance function on the other side of the globe but are currently moving functions! We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant in the Finance department. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including processing invoices, reconciling bank statements, addressing backlog transactions, and handling other adhoc tasks. We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. This is initially a 6-month role with potential for extension. The salary range for this position is £27,000 to £30,000. It's important to note that in-office expectations apply, as teamwork is crucial to our operations. The team requires 2 days of in-office work per week.
