Responsibility
- have oversight and drive success in key warehouse operations initiatives in our London warehouse facilities in Waltham Abbey
- ensure all warehouse units have standardized set-up and scalable processes in place to drive warehouse efficiencies
- identify new opportunities to increase warehouse efficiencies and customer experience
- as Warehouse Manager, you'll be undertaking a unique opportunity to directly impact RLD warehouse operation, and how we meet our commitment to delivery excellence in the UK
- collaborate with multi-functional teams across the business, partnering closely with sales, Operations, Marketing, and Technology
- supporting the General Manager, we are looking for somebody to jump straight into both building scalable and efficient processes, always keeping an eye on the data being presented - covering the handover from the Supply Chain & Logistics to handing over the order to one of our drivers
- this role calls for a combination of exceptional operational thinking and execution, strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and a drive for solid performance and creative problem-solving
- as RLD is such a business, we are looking for a hugely flexible and resilient individual who can switch between strategic initiatives and swiftly pivot into immediate tactical actions the next
Requirements
- existing experience working as a senior manager within Logistics, with experience across both warehouse & transport operations
- minimum 3 years of experience in operations management
- management consulting, strategy
- strong passion for the customer and their needs and wants
- highly analytical approach to everything - utilizing data to help measure and make data-driven decisions in your day-to-day
- the creative mindset in finding new opportunities to grow businesses in unconventional ways successfully
- strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with remote teams where necessary
- warehouse Management: 3 years
