Requirements

  • the receptionist is an important member of the practice team, usually the first person a patient meets or speaks to on the phone
  • you must be able to deal with queries professionally, whilst also being empathetic with people to help make them feel at ease
  • you need to be well organised and accurate in your work and be confident with computers. Full training will be given on our specialist management software
  • the ability to work well as part of a team and get on well with other staff members is crucial, as well as being able to prioritise work and be proactive when working alone

Responsibility

  • based at: Robert Frith Optometrists - Crewkerne
  • reports to: Sally Hutton – Practice Manager
  • days required: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
  • scanning, sending and receiving reports, referral letters, clinic data and other correspondence
