Responsibility

  • prospecting and identifying potential new customers
  • understanding our customers’ marketing and business objectives to deliver packages to meet their requirements
  • developing a strong product knowledge regarding all ROAR B2B events, including demographics, content focuses and customer profiles
  • hitting activity targets which includes CRM and telephone targets
  • demonstrating excellent forecasting skills as and when required
  • negotiating and maximising the potential of all sales transactions
  • utilising the full mix of telephone, email, video, social and when required, face to face sales channels
  • being fully aware of the competitive event and media landscape

Requirements

  • success in delivering revenue and yield targets
  • knowledge of trade show/media/advertising industry preferred, although definitely not essential
  • passionate about customer service
  • strong self-starter who is motivated and capable of working independently
  • creativity, offering a fresh perspective and new ideas, ability to problem solve and designing solutions for our customers
  • basic computer skills in excel and used to working with CRM systems
  • excellent communication and relationship building skills - this is a people industry
