Responsibility
- responsible for placing Purchase orders and sourcing equipment
- managing Purchase orders to ensure a timely delivery
- expediting outstanding purchase orders
- assist with various logistics tasks to ensure goods are delivered and collected on-time
- maintaining RMEC stock records e.g. ordering, receiving and issuing parts required for client jobs or RMEC stock
- working closely with Vendors to source suitable equipment and prices
- provide holiday cover for Stores person
- booking in equipment and correctly labelling it with job identifier
Requirements
- previous purchasing / stores experience
- computer-literate
- mechanical mind-set
