Requirements
- the right candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience, be ambitious, self-motivated and have strong communication skills
- degree-qualified in construction-related subject, or equivalent with appropriate industry experience and knowledge
- commercially aware with excellent negotiation and organisational skills
- accuracy with numeracy with the ability to identify missing items within specifications or drawings
- discretionary annual bonus

Responsibility
- attending sites to estimate, produce cost estimates and cost plans
- accurately review tender documents and drawings, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
- attend meetings, prepare financial reports and monitor on the status of projects and liaise with Projects team
- prepare prices and forecast for the project
- source construction and specialist materials costs as required
- procure contractors and/or subcontractors who will work on the construction of the project
- manage the tender process, review and analyse tender returns and prepare recommendations to the client as well as advice on procurement routes
- monitoring site activity and variations
