Responsibility
- to quote and sell the services of Laser cutting, Press Brake and other related sub-con operations
- working from Customer drawings to produce detailed quotations
- producing accurate and detailed manufacturing cost estimates generated from detailed client manufacturing drawings
- liaise with sub-contract suppliers as required
- liaise directly with customers
- when possible seeking out and generating new business opportunities
- building strong relationships with customers
Requirements
- previous experience within an Estimator role with experience in a sheet metal fabrication shop or metal profiling environment
- ability to use CAD Software is highly desirable
- experience working on a variety of contracts and quoting from detailed engineering drawings
- strong background in fabrication or metal profiling processes
- excellent communication skills at all levels
- strong attention to detail
